If you are a recent college graduate searching for your first job or a more experienced person seeking a new position, America’s Future Foundation (AFF) offers many resources for you. AFF’s mission is to identify and develop young professional leaders for liberty. Part of that mission includes a job board, professional development blog, events, and writing opportunities.
AFF’s Job Board features a robust list of jobs available from the liberty movement from entry to senior level positions. You can find available positions in a wide range of fields around the country and apply directly through the job listing. Search the jobs today.
“Free the Future” professional development blog provides regular, in-depth advice for job seekers on relevant topics including resumes, interviews, follow up, graduate school, and how to get ahead once you find that job. Guest posts from movement experts, (including Liz Hine, Sarah Field, and Kristina Burroughs from Freedom Partners Shared Services!) allow you a special window into the other side of the hiring process so you can get an edge in your search. Read the blog now.
A wide range of AFF events will help you meet people and make connections for your job search. For example, you can attend the monthly roundtables to hear from emerging leaders and network with your peers. AFF also hosts monthly networking lunches where you can improve your networking skills, as well as other seminars and events that will help you expand your professional network. View a list of upcoming events.
Writing opportunities are available in Doublethink magazine. You can practice your writing and be edited by professional editors on AFF’s signature publication. Simply pitch your articles about policy and/or culture to editor Joel Gehrke by emailing email@example.com. More information on submissions can be found here.
Please take advantage of the resources available to you as a job seeker. And, once you find your job, please let us help you advance your career and get better at the skills you need to move up the ladder and better articulate the ideas of liberty in whatever field you choose.
