Today, Freedom Partners Shared Services would like to highlight one of our partner organizations – Concerned Veterans for America (CVA). Veteran’s day was first observed as a legal holiday known as Armistice Day in 1926, to commemorate the end of World War I. President Dwight Eisenhower later changed it to encompass all veterans with his “Veterans Day Proclamation” in October of 1954.

CVA’s mission is to advance freedom that veterans and their families have already defended. The goal of Concerned Veterans for America is to translate the experience, concerns, and hopes unique to veterans and their families into a common vision of freedom. CVA speaks to issues like the economy and national security as they seek to encourage a spirit of opportunity and liberty that all Americans cherish.

Want to keep up with the latest updates from CVA? You can find them on twitterFacebook, or sign up for their daily emails. If you’re interested in putting your skills to work to advance the mission of CVA, you can find a list of their current job opportunities on our Job Board.
